Nothing saddens the heart of a parent more than having disobedient children who disgrace their good name. Does that mean we stop loving them? No. It just means they hurt us deeply, but we will forgive them if they forego their disrespectful ways and make amends for the harm done.

Now, like then, God’s people do not seem to understand, the presence of God is in our midst. His power defeats the enemy, but our mouth, hands and feet deliver His message and carry out His work. If we will not settle for less than God’s best for us which is found in His Word, our Holy Bible, our Promise Land, every blessing in them are for us to partake of, but only if we drive out from our midst the gods of sex and greed which is corrupting every aspect of our society. Then the full blessings of God will be upon His people.

This lady had been delivered from her spirit of infirmity on the day God made His covenant with Abraham back in Genesis 15, but she hadn’t been taught her covenant rights at the synagogue she attended. So Jesus asked the religious leader who should have taught her her covenant rights under the Abrahamic Covenant, “Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham be loosed?”

But, if we really want to know the truth, we will blow the dust off our bibles and start a daily reading program and ask God to direct our studies and go and find a church where the whole Word of God is taught. You will benefit from what you learn if you apply it to your life.

What separates the sinner from the saint is the sinner has not yet accepted their free gift. That’s why it’s important for those who have already received their free gift to tell the sinner what they are missing out on. God’s free gift covers every aspect of our life from health to wealth and soundness of mind. The things all sinners desire but won’t find in a world where people can’t tell the difference between good and evil. When evil is reported as good and good is reported to be evil is the epitomy of confusion. Up is down and down is up in a topsy-turvey world where lives spin out of control because they do not yet know that God has given them a free gift that will turn their world right side up, remove the confusion from their clouded minds so they can think clearly and see things as they really are.
