The Prophetic Vision of the Apostle John
There have been many people who have come into the world and deceived many into believing they are something when they are nothing. There is only God Almighty, Christ Jesus His Son, and the Holy Spirit who make up the Godhead or the Trinity as it is commonly called who have laid down the rules and guidelines by which man must live. All these others are dead and their bones are in the grave they were buried in. Not a single one of them promised to return for their followers, and none of them could tell their followers what the future held for mankind, but Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God, did, and I want to share a small portion of the Prophetic Vision of the Apostle John as given to him by Christ Jesus concerning what is coming upon the world in the not too distant future.
There are people who say the bible is nothing more than a book of fairy tales, a book of stories, a poor history book; they say these things because they love their sin more than they love their life. But there has never been a book written over thousands of years by different authors, predicting the coming of a Savior and His death, the removal of God’s people from their homeland because of their sin, their captivity and cruel treatment by their fellowman, and their return to Israel after being away for two thousand years, but the bible did. And did so with complete accuracy in every account. Each of these prophetic events was given by various individuals over many hundreds of years beginning with the Lord God informing Satan in the garden of Eden in the first book of the bible of the coming of Jesus Christ who would crush his head with His heel. The prophet Isaiah foretold the coming of Christ and the suffering He would undergo at the hands of man, and of His subsequent death. The prophet Daniel foretold the rise and fall of the Roman empire, and of the events that would occur during the final days of man on earth, the great deception and falling away from God by the peoples of earth to follow after an anti-christ who would rule over a one world government which is now forming, and of the great battle called Armageddon where the peoples of the world will attempt to destroy Israel once and for all, and of which is yet to be fought on the plains of Israel. All of these events were foretold thousands of years ago by the prophets of God who also tell us the terrible price man will pay for his rebellion against a loving God who sent His Son into the world to save it.
Revelation chapter Nineteen: “… I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God! “For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication: and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.” Again they said, “Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!” And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshipped God who sat on the throne, saying, Amen! Alleluia!” Then a voice came from the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!” And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife, (The New Testament Church of believers) has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. The he said to me, “Write: Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.” And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven. “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, that you may eat flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of the mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.” And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshipped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
I would think if a person can read they would pay particular attention to the intimate details of events mentioned in Revelation chapter nineteen which must come to pass shortly. For in them we are told what is taking place in heaven, and what is about to take place upon earth, and what the end result will be for all those who rebel against the Lord God. Jesus Christ is the Son who sits upon the white horse in this passage of scripture who let ungrateful men kill Him the first time He came so ALL MEN might receive Eternal Life. But in Revelation nineteen He has forewarned us it will not end that way the second time. This time He is coming as KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS, and MEN WILL DIE so that His people Israel might live. And whether or not you believe it, the prophecies concerning His second coming will come to pass just as surely as the prophecies written hundreds of years before His first coming came to pass in the Old Testament.
