It Is Written

Romans 14:11 “As I live, says the Lord. Every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” What are people going to confess to God? They will confess upon bended knee that Jesus Christ is Lord. A person may not confess Jesus as Lord in this life time, but they certainly will in the next. The Apostle Paul tells us in Romans 14:7-9 “For none of us lives to  himself, and no one dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living.” The Apostle Paul also wrote in the book of Acts chapter 17 verse 8, “In Him we live and move and have our being.” Which means, if God withdrew Himself from creation everything in it would perish in less time than it takes for the human heart to beat one time. God can live without creation and He can live without man, but man and creation cannot live without God because God is the source of life of all things in His creation. Jesus told the Saducees who did not believe in the resurrection of the physical body after death in Luke 20:38, “For He is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto Him.” Once again we see in the scriptures, “For all live unto Him.” Jesus told us we cannot live without God, Paul told us we cannot live without God and I am repeating what they said, “We cannot live without God.” Do you get the point. We cannot live without God. So whether we believe or don’t believe the scriptures and confess Jesus Christ as Lord in this lifetime; we certainly will in the next.” My advice to you is to do it now while heaven is still an option for you. Don’t wait until after death to make the confession because then it will be too late. Right now you have the opportunity to voluntarily confess Christ as Lord; after death, if need be, you will be forced to make the confession; but whether voluntarily or forced; every person will bow before the KING of Glory and every person will confess Christ as Lord.
