The Law is Good
The law is good if one uses it lawfully. The law is not made for a righteous person, but for the ungodly and insubordinate… 1 Timothy 1:8-9.
Laws are established to distinguish the difference between what is right and wrong behaviors in any given society. In other words, the law merely outlines for the members of a society what behaviors is and isn’t acceptable. Those who live according to the law have nothing to fear from the law, but if a person breaks the law; punishment will follow. God gave men the power to live peacefully with one another. He did not give them the power to abuse their fellow man. This is a violation of the law in almost every society on earth.
No society can afford to let people do what they want if they expect to maintain order within their society. When people are free to do everything they want it can lead them to interfere with, interrupt, and put at risk, the normal lifestyle of other people. Therefore by design, the law was put in place to protect the obedient person from the disobedient person. And in some cultures the punishment for violating the law are more extreme than they are in other cultures, but regardless of the severity of the punishment, the law is there to warn the law breaker what will happen to them if they live a life of disobedience.
God made man to be obedient, strong and to conquer, but not to conquer their fellow man. God gave us these great powers to control our mutual enemy; Satan. Man is a spirit being living in a physical body with power second only to that of the Father, Son and Holy spirit, and God gave man this great power to rule and reign over everything on this earth. However, when man abuses their power and diverts the use of their power against their fellow man; that is when God gets involved and will protect the innocent people against whom this intrusive power is directed. This abuse of power is not from God who builds people up to make the weak man strong. There is one who seeks to destroy all men; and would if he could; but not in the sense we would think. Satan’s desire is get all men sent to hell where the spirit of mankind will be considered dead because it is forever useless to God. Men need to understand that Satan has no power on this earth unless man assists him in his demented purposes. Jesus said in John 10:10, “Satan, the devil, comes to steal, kill, and to destroy.” Everything about him is evil. There is no good in him. None whatsoever. And those people who lend Satan their power to do his dirty deeds will pay a great price for abusing the power given to them when judgment day comes. God’s law says, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Those people who have been abused by their fellow man will see justice brought to those who assisted Satan in his dirty work. God will exact vengeance on those disobedient law breakers and the punishment they receive will be an eternal life sentence with no chance of parole. DThrash
