Everything God is going to do for us in this life He did through Christ when He died on the cross.
We have been studying Faith in our Tuesday night bible study and based upon what the bible says faith is and how we see God’s children living today are complete opposites.
86% of the people in America say they are Christian. We know that number is extremely exaggerated and is not even close to being accurate. If 86% of the people in America were Christians and a sheep of the flock of God; America would not be in the pitiful condition it is presently.
The difference between 2014 and eternity is that 2014 will come to an end in 365 days, but eternity is without end, it is forever and ever. Isn’t it time we wised up and gave Jesus a chance to remove the garbage from our life so we can walk in newness of life with Him forever burden free. To get an idea of what I am talking about: pick up 100 lbs of weight and place it across your shoulders and carry it around with you for 30 minutes or so, then lay that 100 lbs down and instantly you will feel better because a heavy burden has been removed from your body. Just lugging that extra 100 lbs around caused your body to use up a lot of your energy that could have been better used doing something beneficial.
Observe the life of a sinner who has been born again. Everything about their old life passes away and the new creation replaces the old and all things are made new. That is a miracle! We were not created by God to wonder who we are and why we were created. We were created to be children of the Most High God, full of power and love and respect for God’s creation.
Faith is having more confidence in what God has done for me, then what Satan can do to me.
We have to make a decision we hate the problem we are dealing with then do something about it. The power to change his life was in the invalid and the power to defeat our problem is within us. When we determine to win over our problem, God supplies the power, and we walk away free. Do you want to be free of your problem? I think you do. You just haven’t determined in your heart you are going to defeat it. Make the decision, then rise up, and defeat that physical problem, financial problem, mental problem, or whatever name your problem goes by.
As a Christian soldier, if we wait until we are at the point of being overwhelmed by the enemy before we begin studying how to defeat him; we too place our life in great peril.
