The happiest people on earth should be Christians. We should be beyond happy because if we have been born of God, He has given to each of us joy and peace in such measure that it should be bubbling out of us to the extent that it touches and affects everything and everyone we come into contact with. And to further bless us, our heavenly Father has filled us with Himself in the form of His Holy Spirit whose strength is beyond belief and gives unto us the ability to create the life we want to live while on this earth. What magnificent glory our Heavenly Father has bestowed upon His children.
The bible tells us in John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and Word was with God, and the Word was God. (Verse 3) All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. (Verse 4) In Him was life and the life was the light of men.” And In Genesis, God said, “Let us make man in our image and in our likeness.” So from these scriptures we can deduce that the abilities God possesses are also in man since we are made in His image and in His likeness and filled with His Spirit.
With the creative ability our words possess; Christians should be the happiest people on earth. Are you happy? You should be. You are living the life you created for yourself. God isn’t recreating your life, and the devil can’t touch your life without your consent. Thus, you are the prophet of your soul and the creator of the life you are living by the words you speak. If we don’t like the life we have built for ourselves; don’t fret; we have the power to change our life by changing the words we speak over our life. If I build my dog a dog house and I don’t like how it looks when I am done with it. I can take it apart and change it into one that I will like. That’s my right because I built the dog house. Our life is like that dog house I spoke of. If you don’t like who you are; change your life by changing the words you speak. However, if you continue to speak the words you are presently speaking over your life, you will keep getting the same results. If you don’t like your life; change it. If you are happy with your life, you can continue to improve upon it. That’s our God-given rights. Enjoy them for better or worse. DThrash
Yesterday’s faith contained enough power to meet the demands of evil, yesterday. It takes ‘Now Faith’, today’s faith to meet the demands of evil today.
We are our own worst enemy, or our loudest cheerleader. Therefore, we can never point the finger at anyone else and blame them for our failures because there are always three times as many fingers pointing back at us as there are pointing at those we blame.
The purpose of Christianity and the reason God provides for us is so that we might spend as much time as possible bringing God’s lost sheep back home and into the kingdom of God where they will be looked after and cared for by the Master Himself.
Mary was interceding for her friends and she knew Jesus could take care of the situation. When He told her it wasn’t any of His concern, she didn’t get upset, she turned to the servants standing nearby and said, “Whatever He tells you to do, do it!”
If Jesus had listened to the religious leaders of His day and came down from His cross; we would still be lost in our sin and on our way to hell. Religion would send us all to hell, but Jesus didn’t listen to them and experienced the full range of pain and emotions that accompany His cross experience. As a result of Him embracing His cross, more people have been won to Him through His death then He ever won with preaching while He was alive on earth. If that were not true, we would not be sitting here today reading of His refusal to come down from the cross because we needed a Savior, we didn’t need an escape artist to be our God.
Throughout her life, Mary remained rock steady in her trust of the plan the angel had laid out before her when she was just fourteen years old.
When we talk to God, we must believe He hears us and will grant our petition. If we just talk into the air expecting nothing to happen? Nothing happens.
