I Told You, and You Did Not Believe

86% of the people in America say they are Christian. We know that number is extremely exaggerated and is not even close to being accurate. If 86% of the people in America were Christians and a sheep of the flock of God; America would not be in the pitiful condition it is presently.

The Law is Good

No society can afford to let people do what they want if they expect to maintain order within their society. When people are free to do everything they want it can lead them to interfere with, interrupt, and put at risk, the normal lifestyle of other people. Therefore by design, the law was put in place to protect the obedient person from the disobedient person.

Evil Company Corrupts Good Habits

Paul was not telling the Corinthian Christians to completely abandon their old friends because those old friends needed God’s salvation. But what he was telling them to do was separate themselves from their old friends and form relationships with people of like beliefs to prevent their good habits from becoming corrupted. Hanging with worldly people is evil in the eyes of God because worldly people do not possess the knowledge of God nor do they practice God’s ways. And people who do not follow God’s ways are disobedient rebels and rebels will be punished, not rewarded.

It Is Written

My advice to you is to do it now while heaven is still an option for you. Don’t wait until after death to make the confession because then it will be too late. Right now you have the opportunity to voluntarily confess Christ as Lord; after death, if need be, you will be forced to make the confession; but whether voluntarily or forced; every person will bow before the KING of Glory and every person will confess Christ as Lord

Your Maker is Your Husband

Let us lay aside every weight that so easily besets us and realize who we are and to whom we belong. If we do these things, every situation in our life will be righted and every enemy defeated. We are not poor little things all alone in this world..The truth is we are never alone. Never! We are somebody and we are mighty in God and priceless to the One to whom we owe our allegiance, dedication, and life. Believe it and live it. Eternity is upon us.

The Sinners Salvation

I am amazed people can be so easily blinded by a fool (Satan) and really think this confused world we live in has anything to offer them but problems.

Dear God, When Will It All End?

Dear God, when will it all end? Shortly, dear ones, it will all end shortly. How can you be so sure? We have God’s Word on it. The newspapers headlines in our daily newspapers read, famines, droughts, wars, rumors of wars, hurricanes, typhoons, tsunami’s, earthquakes, volcanoes, tornadoes, excessive heat, and flooding. I haven’t mentioned murder, multiple killings, rape, thefts, lying, crime, police brutatity, child abuse, pedophilia, homosexuality, abortion, or any other such thing. However, all are on the increase. When will it all end? That’s a question many world leaders are asking. When their people ask tough questions such as this, they do not have answers. That’s because they do not consult God, neither do they read their bibles.

Yesterday, We Buried My Nephew

Yesterday, July 8th, 2011 the Thrasher family buried their dead loved one. I wrote on Tuesday of the death of my nephew and the circumstances surrounding his death. He died just 7 hours and 40 minutes before his 49th birthday. Way to early in life to die. His death could have been prevented, but his desire to drink himself to death was stronger than his desire to live and he collected his wages for that crime against his body at 4:20 PM on July 4th, the day America celebrate as their Independence Day.

Trust Me, Not What You See

Those people who only believe in what they can see will be fooled many times in life because what we can see with our naked eyes is not all there is to life. Look at the tree; we do not see the sap flowing upward from the roots that causes the tree to grow and branch out and gives life to the many leaves along with their beautiful green color. But if we were to cut into the tree, we will see the sap flowing thus proving there is life in the tree we cannot see.

John 3:16

Most people think that once they are saved, God pretty much forgets about them until they die and He then takes them to heaven where they will live happily ever after. So their thinking is that God’s salvation is just to keep them from going to hell. The rest of the time they have to figure things out on their own the best they can. That’s why their life isn’t much different after they are saved then it was before they got saved.
